It is very easy to completely eliminate the ants from your surrounding by killing them but it is also very important to remove the ant’s pheromone trail because these trails easily attract the other ants into the region. Once you complete the task, you must keep your surroundings clean and secure to prevent further infestation.

  • Kill the ant’s trail

When the ants start it a journey, they leave the pheromone trail that attracts the other ants. When you notice the trail immediately eliminate the trail using soapy water or bleach solution. This will remove both trail and the pheromone smell from the surface.

  • Soak the sponge in the detergent liquid and wipe the ants

Take and sponge and rinse in the detergent liquid and keep wiping the ants until you finish with all. Make sure the trail is completely wiped. Even you can use the sprits spray to eliminate the colony.

  • Own apple cider vinegar solution

Mix apple cider vinegar with water in the same proportion and spray the solution on the trail and then wipe it with a sponge or by using the cloth. Repeat the same process until you completely eliminate the trail.

  • Vacuum the ant’s trail

Sprinkle the borax powder on the ants and vacuum the surface clearly. Once the ants have completely removed place the vacuum cleaner outside. Finally, clean the area by using soapy water.

  • Use the commercial bait trap

Baits traps are one of the easiest ways to kill the ant’s colony completely because the ants will easily take the baits and share with the other ants. Place the baits traps in the area where the ants frequently invade. Do not spray any repellents near the baits as the smell will not let the ants take the bait. Follow the instructions completely before using the bait traps. Ant control is very easy through bait traps.

  • Make your own bait trap

If you don’t want to use the traps from the shops you can make your own trap by mixing 1 tablespoon of boric acid in 1 ¼ cup of sugar. Sprinkle the blend on the surface where the ants invade. Keep your pets and children away from the surface as the mixture is toxic.

  • Peanut butter trap

This is another best alternative form of baits. Mix 2 tablespoon of peanut butter with the same proportion of honey and a ½ teaspoon of borax powder and make a fine paste. Place the past on the cardboard and place the board on the surface where the ants wander. This bait works amazingly in killing the ant’s colony. You can replace the baits when they get dry. Once the ants stop invading in your house you can remove the bait.
